1. ART - ORIGINALS
Placing your order: for ordering a Original Art item (one of a kind, made by Wieteke) please reach out to us via the contact form next to the item in the webshop – or by writing to: Info@design4awareness.com Also; if you have any general questions about any art piece, you can ask them there.
Shipping costs: prices on the website are exclusive shipping costs as shipping costs will differ per item (what size it has) and per country.
We work with a professional company that specializes in shipping art. The total estimated costs of carefully wrapping your item and it’s safe delivery to your home, will be shared with you by e-mail asap, after you informed us of your interest in a specific work of art. After we’ve let you know the additional costs of shipping the item to your address, we ask you to let us know within 3 days whether you agree on the sum total price of the item including these shipping costs. Once we know of this – and this amount has been transferred by IBAN (Internet Banking); we will get everything organized for you as soon as possible.
Shipping times: Original Art will be shipped subject to Wieteke’s availability – typically within 7 days of purchase *
* TRAVEL Exception: some people like their item to be authographed / signed by Wieteke herself – on the back of the canvas for instance.
If in such occasions she is away on travels – you may have to wait a little longer for your item to be ready for shipping, until she is back.
In this case; we will ask you to make a downpayment so the item will remain reserved for you untill she returns home and will be able to
sign the item personally to you – before it will be sent on it’s way.
Refunds Original Art:
Original art items are wrapped and shipped by a separate expert company, to make sure your item arrives in perfect state.
Due to the sensitive nature of wrapping and shipping canvasses, and the possible damage that may occor to it at your place or
on it’s way ‘back’ to us, we cannot refund purchases of Original Art.
Important! Due to Australia’s laws on importing wood products, we do not ship canvas prints to Australia.
2. ART - JEWELRY (when available)
Refunds & Cancellations
Placing your order: for ordering a piece of jewelry, please reach out to us via the contact form next to the item in the webshop – or by writing to: Info@design4awareness.com Also; if you have any general questions about any piece of jewelry, you can ask them there.
Shipping costs: prices on the website are exclusive shipping costs as shipping costs will differ per country.
We will send your piece carefully wrapped by mail using the Signature For Delivery method – and providing you with a Track & Trace number.
Please note that (depending on what country the package needs to be send to) we may be obligated by law, to mention the nature and value of the item on you package. This may result in additional costs & taxes calculated for you by the government / your local Customs and Border Protection. These rules and regulations may change without us knowing about it – you will have to inform yourself of what regulations apply in your country for this – at the time of your placing your order. Please realize that extra taxes may be added in case of the transportation of valuable metals such as silver of gold.
The total estimated costs of carefully wrapping your item and it’s safe delivery to your home, will be shared with you by e-mail asap, after you informed us of your interest in a specific jewlery item. After we’ve let you know the additional costs of shipping the item to your address, we ask you to let us know within 3 days whether you agree on the sum total price of the jewlery item including these shipping costs. Once we have received your confimation – and the full amount has been transferred by IBAN (Internet Banking); we will get everything organized for you as soon as possible.
A printed copy of your (already paid) invoice (also containing your name and address) will be added to the package.
Shipping times: Original Art will be shipped subject to Wieteke’s availability – typically within 5 days after the meoney of the purchase has been received *
* TRAVEL Exception: If Wieteke happens to be away on travels – you may have to wait longer for your item to be ready for shipping, either until she found an assistant available to send the item for you – or until she is back, so she can send it to you herself.
Refunds Original Art:
Jewlery items are wrapped carefully, to make sure your item arrives in perfect state.
Due to the sensitive nature of soft metals such as silver, gold and brass (scratching may occur easily) and due to any possible damage that may occor to it at your place, while ‘test-wearing’ an item or whilst being sent on it’s way ‘back’ to us, we cannot refund purchases of Jewlery Items.
What we CAN do to ensure you of the quality of the item before we send it on it’s way to you – is send you a high quality series of pictures of it from all posisble angles, and/or a high quality video – showing you the piece in good light, so you can confirm no scratches or damages were already on it. A tiny bit of matte-relief in the stucture of any crystal-fillings inside a certain design, is normal and not considered a form of ‘damage’.
3. AUDIO - VIDEO - PDF (downloads)
Delivery
Digital products will be delivered immediately into the My Account section of the website where you bought them and will remain be available there for streaming or download.
Refunds & Cancellations
Digital Goods and Online Courses: Due to the nature of digital data, we cannot refund any digital goods and/or online courses.
4. ART - PRINTS & PRINTED ITEMS (if available)
Refunds for misprinted/damaged/defective items
We are happy to refund any defective physical goods bought from the Design4awareness-Shop within 30 days of purchase.
Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 30 days after the product has been received.
In such occasions we ask you to:
1) Please inform us of the problem (include a picture for clarity in case of damage) by emailing to: …..(link will follow soon – writing on 9-2-2022)
2) Read the refund policy of the company that printed your item HERE.
3) Inform the printer of your complaint HERE.
4) In case you wish to return your printed item – check out THIS list with addresses to see where it needs to be send to.
We always aim to process any requests for refunds and/or cancellation within 5 business days.
Packages lost in the mail:
For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date.
But no worries! We’ll cover the costs of reprinting and shipping a replacement order for you.
We may ask for your help before doing that, like confirming that the shipping address was correct.
We will also ask you if you got in touch with the shipping carrier to try locating the lost order.
Keep in mind that if tracking information states an order was delivered but you think you haven’t received it,
we can not take responsibility and reship that order. In that case, any replacements would have to be at your expense.

Please allow 2-5 business days for the creation of on demand products. Shipping times should be added on top of that. 97% of orders are shipped within 5 business days. More than a half of our orders are shipped within 3 business days or less.

Europe: 3-7 business days following production
Australia: 4-7 business days following production
Canada: 4-7 business days following production
China: 8-14 business days following production
Africa: 6-12 business days following production

* Note: it is possible certain items to do ship to certain areas. If this is so – you will be notified of that in the shop before check-out.
Customs:
Certain shipments may incur customs/duty fees, depending on the destination country. The fee may vary depending on your order value, country limits, and other factors. Customers are responsible for these fees.

The STO-Garant is not applicable on any shop items
ANY of the before mentioned products; physical or digital in nature – are not covered by the STO Garant guarantee.
